first of all, happy birthday girl!! today is your special day, and i couldn't be happier to celebrate it with you and our not-so-little garden.
i've been thinking about a way to say everything i feel but, honestly, words still fall short. when i first heard your music, it caught me off guard in the most unexpected, beautiful day.
i had no idea what was coming. you came out of the blue and somehow you got me through the toughest times.
you're not just an arist i admire and you're not just someone with incredibile talent (although you absolutely are that, too). you're someone who's made a real, lasting difference in my life. i've grown so attached to you, not just because of your art, but because of the way YOU are. your messages, your kindness, your presence... they've become something i look forward to, something that makes even the hardest days a little easier.
there's something so special about the way you share yourself with the world, it's raw, it's real and it's filled with heart. the way you never give up and still keep moving toward your dream with so much strenght moves me in such a deeply way. devon you are such an example to me, your spirit, your resilience reminds me that it's possible to chase my own dream even when it feels impossible. you've shown me that there's power in holding on, in believing in something so deeply that you refuse to let go, no matter what. that's something i carry with me every day because of you.

Devon inspired me in a lot of different ways, but the main one that I wanted to let she knows is that she made me believe in my dreams a lot more than I did, her music, her lyrics and her in the way she is made me realise that my dreams aren’t just dreams. So thanks to her and other artists like Gracie or taylor I started writing my own music and I started believing more in my dreams. Devon is such a sweet person in general and with her lyrics has always made me feel understood like nobody did before. So I wanted to wish her a really lovely birthday. Happy happy birthday Dev. 💕
